Crops
We primarily grow corn, soybeans, and hay on about 500 acres a year. We own 176 acres and lease the rest from family and neighbors. One perk to generational farming is established relationships with neighbors!
We rotate crops, farm some no-till, and still do some plowing. Our corn is hybrid and our soybeans are GMO.
We contract our soybeans with a local ag service and sell most of our shelled corn to the same business as well as local farmers for feed.
We are fortunate to be able to grow the feed needed for our livestock.
