At Sandy Creek Ventures, we are currently growing three cultivars

of lavender and lavandin.

 

Betty's Blue (lavandula angustifolia) was selected for its long stem for crafting. This English cultivar is great for fresh cut or dried blossom arrangements.

Buena Vista (lavandula angustifolia) was selected as a culinary choice. With two blooms a season this sweet English cultivar was a must.

Grosso (lavandula x intermedia) was selected for its aroma. This cultivar is a French hybrid, hardy, and a common choice for its oils.

 

Overall, all three cultivars are great additions to the farm,

drawing pollinators for our larger crops.
